So... I was commissioned this morning to drive a friend to the Idaho Falls Airport! We had to leave at 6 am this morning. Which doesn't really sound that early... but in Idaho it is still pitch black and is pitch black for like another hour and a half. And I also don't remember the last time I woke up before 7, let alone 5:15. So since I was up and never will be at that time again I thought I would go take some photos for a long term assignment... on my way back from the sight this is what I saw!!!! The colors were gorgeous!!!
Approximately 12 hours later this was the view out my living room window... gotta love Fall, except that it is getting a little too cold to be taking pictures outside, but when it is this, it is so worth it!

Crave these...
So I was thinking about up-coming, non-existent, hyphen-crazy photoshoots... And I thought "WOW! Wouldn't it be cool to encourage people to book a shoot and get some RAD CUSTOM CHRISTMAS CARDS!!!" Well I immediately thought... "It sure would!" Check these rad guys out... you know you want'em! You could even customize your own colors and text! Book your shoot now! Call me: 909.632.6777! I'll be back in California November 21st-29th... JUST IN TIME TO SEND OUT SOME CHRISTMAS CHEER!

Calling all Seniors...
Actually... I'm not picky... calling EVERYONE! I have been itching to do some portrait shoots... if you know someone or anyone needing pictures for anything... seniors, pregos, babies, families, children, teenagers, weddings, fam. reunions... ALSO Christmas is coming and I know everyone wants to send out cards with their photo on it... and not one of those cheesy walmart ones either! I don't care what, but spread the word and I am at your beck and call!
Now this has got me thinking... my old roommate is 5 months along... she is probably popping a bit, I should call her.
Also Emily's old roommate just had a baby... we ran into them at chili's... I was practically begging on my knees to get my lens on her little one.
Sad I'm missing Kaile's 2nd birthday! I promise I won't miss another!
Can't. can't. can't wait till my littlebig brother is a senior... one more year -- i have already started a mental list of the shots I want to get -- letterman's, class ring, waterpolo ball, a sweet tie, an embarrasing one in his scout uniform... where should we do these... maybe at his high school... who knows? But i gotta whole year to plan... He's also due for a his yealy shoot this year... we did last years a little early and its been over a year -- oh how I love him... ANYWAYS i'll stop babbling... If you or someone you know needs a photog LET ME KNOW!

Reflections of Christ
I know this is MY photography blog, but I couldn't help but share this...
Here is one blessing of living in the freezing cold to go to a "Religious Education Center":
And that is getting to see some really cool stuff!
I had the chance to view a traveling exhibit in the religion building on campus here! It's called Reflections of Christ! They are a series of photographs on the life of Christ and they are B-E-A-U-TIFUL! Luckily for you -- they have a website... it is http://www.reflectionsofchrist.org after you get there I would click on the "Blog" link and view the video there... or actually a SLIDESHOW of the images (if it is not the first post, it was posted on October 10th.You could also go to this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YADkd1n_Dfo on YouTube to see all the images too.) The exhibit will be traveling more, maybe even to you! I emailed the guy in charge tonight to find out more info on the tour.) The reason for this "project" is for a book that you can buy at deseretbook.com -- I'm not sure if it is preorder still? I commissioned my mother to buy it IMMEDIATELY. But I might just have to run over to DB tomorrow to check it out for myself... because the exhibit is leaving our campus TODAY!
It is seriously the most incredible thing I have ever seen. Clearly a powerful testimony in my favorite artistic medium. I hope you will check it out! It's amazing how art stimulates the senses, even our spirits. It definitely gave my testimony a boost of the Living Christ and how important it is to be like Him.This is probably my favorite image from the exhibit!

This is IDAHO--
So I went out today with my friend Brittany (she's an art major also from NORCO, AND I seriously need to be taking some tips from her... she's amazing at everything:)... Anyways, I have an assignment due for my color photo class on COLOR EMOTION -- so we'll see what I decide to do... I can't deny that Idaho is Gorgeous this time of year -- It's definitely fall! The colors are beautiful AND it's beginning to get BURR COLD!
Also, I have been trying hard to kind of "define" my style... What do you think? Any requests of what you would like to see?
PS: Trying to get some PAYING portrait jobs is almost impossible in REXBURG! well i haven't really been trying... but really I will take any practice I can get. OO OO I have news! I will be shooting my VERY FIRST WEDDING in DENVER on FEBRUARY 7th!
This is BRIT-- such a MODEL!
Can you find the Fisherman?!
BRIT took this of me-- I told you I should be taking tips from her!
