I guess I'm feeling nostalgic lately... these are a few pieces of my grandmother's china from the 1940's. I recently inherited them. Aren't they sweet?

I love this little girl, whom we affectionately call "Pipi!" She has quite the personality... she is naughty, coy, lovey, licky, and just plain hilarious! She also loves to take baths and play dress up {Yes I buy her clothes! I'm one of those people. Maybe I bought her a bikini and planning to get her a kiddie pool for those hot summer days in our near future!} Here she is behaving in the Garden.

One of my fondest memories from early childhood was going to my Grandma's house and spending time in her garden. I also loved "helping" my Mom plant flowers in flower beds at our home. My mom is a great gardener... and I hope that the green thumb has been passed down to me from her. One of my goals for my post-grad life was to learn to garden. It sure is hard work, but you cannot reap what you cannot sew. I can't wait to eat all the yummy fruits, veggies, and herbs we are growing.
