ok. well her name is melissa. but close right. she graciously modeled for kristen and i [per kristen's request] for our "executive" shoot. for portrait class.

i love her vintage dress. and the monochromatic composition.

she's gorgeous. and was perfect for the shoot.

i love the ancient books in the library.

kristen and i were not looking forward to this, but really got into it.

they turned out great.

Kaile and Koa

Love these two! And finally able to get them together and mom mostly stress free to do a shoot with them! She is sassy and funny and adorable. He is charming and happy and precious! And they love each other!

Family Christmas 2008

So every year, for as long as I can remember, my Dad's side of the family has a Christmas party the Sunday before Christmas. It used to be a big event with cousins and cousins and cousins' cousins, a talent show, white elephant, and then every family would share what their big events were through that year. But as people have moved away and lives get busy it is much smaller now. Just my family, my two aunts and their families! We have dinner with soup, chips and dip (my favorite), and dessert and then we all just hang out and I of course take the family photos! And take way too many pictures of the babies (we missed Calleigh this year!) So... meet my family:

How could you not be in LOVE with these two? They are perfect! Crazy. Cute. Sweet. Beautiful. All of the above and 10,000 more! So Koa may or may not have drool on his shirt, but you can't help but want to pinch his cheeks. And Kaile may or may not have the cutest, most innocent expression while watching her Dad try to get her to smile. I don't know what life would be like without them or their amazing parents and my amazing cousin who is my best friend (she is not pictured in fear of my life)! But I am seriously in LOVE!
