the temple and steam...
make a lovely combination, especially after it has hailed, snowed, and rained today along with fierce winds. i love the rexburg temple! i know, i know, i take too many pictures of this temple, but it is so convenient when i can see it perfectly from my living room window.

the lovely....
miss brit! as you all know, i shoot this lady all the time! maybe its because she's beautiful, maybe its because she demands that i boss her around, maybe its because she's always willing, and maybe its because we always have so much fun together! these are for my first portrait class assignment! enjoy!
oh idaho....
i was driving home finishing up a project for my portrait class, got out of the car to look at the river, and heard some extensive moo-ing! i looked further down the road only to see some cowboys hearding all these cows and their babies into a pasture. The cowboys were whistling, and lasso-ing, and whipping, wearing chaps, cowboys hats, and boots! so i drove down a little farther, got out of my car and followed them on foot down the road. and, might i add, that they had completely stopped traffic and were stinkin up the place. it was the most exciting thing i've seen!

like i promised...
i promised i would show you my prints.
while i was up ALL night, making books, getting my prints ready for the art sale, taking photographs of projects, and all that other wonderful nonsense, i took some shots of the goodness done in printmaking.
these are all on sale now along with some lovely little handmade books.
i am going to do an(other) edition of these next semester, they will be perfect and pretty and pristine.
so start your salivating
wait for the etsy shop
and don't steal
and now what you have all been waiting for:
combo i:combo ii:
combo iii:
and then i bought some goodies from e. house
so hopefully more prints and some books will sell so i can reimburse myself
happy tuesday!

ding dong
... intro to studio lighting is dead!
as much as i complained and dreaded waking up for this tuesday/thursday 8 am class. i learned a lot and i am grateful that i was able to take it... but what a relief to turn in my final portfolio of 6 hand-matted and mounted images! the deadline for them is tomorrow at noon and i had those puppied turned in at 7!
here are my faves:
the purpose of this class was to learn the proper techniques in lighting in the studio for different types of subjects and situations. we also had a small section of portraiture. and i will be taking the portraiture class this summer!
this semester has FLOWN by! i can't believe it's almost over. there is cleaning and a little bit of packing to do... finals and final projects... and so much more! AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
