Alex RAW
After my brother got home from school today we ran out to the art colony and vintage shops in Pomona (ghetto? yeah). I love it down there though -- so artsy and I can see myself dropping some cash at the vintage shoppes :) Anyways Alex is always fun to shoot and at the end we did some sequences that I can't wait to stitch together when I get back to school. But enjoy these! All unedited. PS: I'm loving the wardrobe!

Color Photo Journal - DAY 5
I have started to go out and shoot pictures like everyday, and it is super hard for me to just post things from my everyday life (mostly because I don't want to lug my camera around everywhere.) Anyway, today just wanted to get out and go photographing, so I took a picture of my steering wheel while driving. I love my car and driving!

Abandoned House
So Britt (my model/photog friend) and I heard about this abandoned house like 15 miles outside rexburg... we were planning on going to Bannack Ghost Town, Montana, but the weather was a little sketchy and we didn't want to risk going all that way to get rained out; even though it was like misting the whole time we were out there and was freezing, but in the name of photography, well worth it. So this little abandoned house would have to suffice our need for the old and shambled. It was sweet though, a little creepy, but we got used to it. We went out there to try out some lenses we borrowed from the photolab, and we got some pretty successful images AND had tons of fun doing it. Hope you likey:
Just me doin my thing, and you can see how trashed this place was:

color photo class
This week for my photography class, our assignment that was due was PORTRAITS! my favorite! so i commissioned my roommates (as usual) to lay, kneel, sit, stand, bend, etc. etc. in the stairwell of our apartment building. The lighting was fortunately lovely, but a little blue... surprise surprise... anyways, i am grateful for the willingness of my models... they turned out great!
